No. Late ’50s PAFs were not wax potted.
The coils remain unpotted for openness and touch sensitivity.
The cover is secured with a small drop of silicone gasket to help control vibration.

At typical stage volumes and gain levels, no. Like original PAFs, extreme high-gain setups can introduce microphonics.
