What if they’re not right for me?
Install them. Live with them.
If they’re not right, return them within 30 days of receiving them.
Are these wax potted?
No. Late ’50s PAFs were not wax potted.
The coils remain unpotted for openness and touch sensitivity.
The cover is secured with a small drop of silicone gasket to help control vibration.
Will they squeal at higher gain?
At typical stage volumes and gain levels, no. Like original PAFs, extreme high-gain setups can introduce microphonics.
The small drop of silicone gasket under the cover helps reduce this.
Are sets matched and measured?
Yes.
DCR, inductance and capacitance are verified and logged before dispatch.
