Maximum clarity. Airy top end.
The lowest wind in the range. Open, expressive and highly touch-sensitive.
The clearest and most articulate point in the Olemy range.
Notes stay defined and separated. Chords remain open, with strong string-to-string clarity. The top end is extended and controlled.
The coils follow early limited-traverse PAF winding patterns. The wire is laid through the centre before settling outward as the coil forms, creating a slightly larger, less compact structure. This reduces both inductance and distributed capacitance, raising the resonant peak and increasing clarity and dynamic response.
The result is a more open late-’50s voice that retains definition as you play.
Roll the volume back and it stays articulate. Increase your attack and it remains controlled.
If you prefer the cleaner side of a late-’50s PAF, this is that voice.
| Position | DC Resistance | Inductance | Capacitance |

Measured at 1 kHz
Each set is wound within defined electrical tolerances to hit a consistent tonal window.
The ’57 sits at the most open end of the Olemy range. Articulate, balanced and unmistakably late-’50s in character, with the highest degree of clarity and separation.
